The Native Water Movement

As a result of a Kangen life shift, in 2015 Haydon decided to explore the Americas on a journey of self-expansion, researching water along the way.

While travelling he conducted and published a series of interviews and water tests in Hawaii, California, Mexico, Central American locations, South America and found, among other fascinating discoveries, that most people around the world appeared to be experiencing the same fenomenon when it came to water: shocking disconnection. 

In every single town and city visited, the bottled water which dominated each store was supplied by unethical multi-national corporations (one in particular in fact) who were simply changing their labels from country to country to target each local market.

Meanwhile, local water sources in every location were being neglected and polluted. The majority of bottled waters found and tested proved to be acidic and therefore not only not properly hydrating but contribuitng to widespread poor health. The crucial topics of microplastics and stagnant dead bottled water had also barely been considered by most people around the world. 

The interviews conducted found that people were either drinking unfiltered tap water containing chemicals without questioning the impacts on their health or bottled water without questioning where it was sourced and the impacts of microplastics, including the connection to cancer in younger people in particular. Only in a few special locations were people interacting with this most precious element consciously, one of those places being in the mountains of Peru. 

Here, in The Sacred Valley near Machu Picchu, Haydon surprisingly encountered a fellow Kangen water appreciator and was able to reconnect with the magic water for the first time in over seven months of travelling.

While staying in the village of Pisaq near Cusco city he was offered to fill up on Kangen water and found the impact of reconnecting with it to be noticeably reawakening. The significantly noticeable hydration confirmed and now highlighted how significant Kangen technology is, especially at high altitude with limited oxygen supply where his breathing was clearly impacted.

Some of the most significant water insights Haydon had here were experiencing plant medicines while being properly hydrated with Kangen water in comparison to drinking bottled water, which he’d been drinking for the better part of 7 months.

Foundation of The Native Water Movement 

In 2016, on returning to Australia Haydon founded the Native Water Movement and began promoting Kangen technology as well as customised pre-filtration and shower filters.

The movement grew quickly: in addition to installing systems in homes, Native Water also guided businesses such as Bondi’s first vegan cafe, a traditional Chinese teahouse in Surry Hills, health stores, wellness spaces, bars and gyms on the optimal water setups. These businesses noticed the impact on having Kangen not only for their clientele but for their personal health as well. 

2018 saw Native Water move to Byron Bay to be based amongst pristine nature and a community of people who appreciate water and optimal health.

In 2019 a collective of water appreciators launched Water Awakenings with the intention of reconnecting people with the magic of water through music, talks, dance and ceremony, emphasising Indigenous wisdom from around the world.

In 2020 plans to take Water Awakenings and Native Water on the road were postponed due to lockdowns. Meanwhile the Kangen movement exploded in a new direction - people all over the world seeked to boost their health, work from home and increase their revenue streams in a rapidly changing economic climate.

During 2021 - 2022 Native Water affiliates found themselves guiding people interested in Kangen technology and the international business structure more than ever, continuing today. 

2022 - 2024

The aftermath of lockdowns and the recession/depression has seen more people than ever in history focus simultaneously on optimal health and creating healthy wealth.

The interntional Kangen business structure has provided the perfect platform for countless people to break free from an out-dated and dying economic structure.

People no longer want to work ridiculous hours, being underpaid while their health deteriorates and not even being able to afford a home after being paid by the hour. More and more people are setting up side hustles and their own businesses while focussing on better health - and the Kangen referral structure ticks both these boxes at the same time.
